When we talk about trauma, we often focus on what was done to a person. But some of the deepest wounds come from what a person has done—or failed to do—themselves. Moral injury is the profound psychological and spiritual distress that occurs when one’s actions betray their core values. This webinar offers a gospel-centered framework for counseling those burdened by the weight of their own choices, moving them past paralyzing shame toward true restoration.
Participants will explore:
- The Anatomy of Moral Injury: Differentiating between standard trauma and the spiritual “soul wound” of moral failure.
- The Gospel Lens: Re-framing sin and failure within the redemptive light of Christ’s finished work.
- A Path to Restoration: Practical steps for acknowledging violations while firmly grasping biblical hope.
- Healing Relationships: Guiding principles for making amends and restoring trust in broken communities.
