CTHN’s Level 1 Training at PeaceWorks Live 2026 is a 6.5-hour course for Christian professional and lay counselors who want to learn the foundations of trauma-informed care from a biblical perspective. Taught in person by Beth Broom, this training provides an overview of counseling principles and practices for helping individuals heal from traumatic experiences.
Please note: This conference training includes the lecture portion only. It does not include the three required group consultation sessions needed to earn the Certified Christian Trauma Care Provider Level 1 (CCTCP-1) certification. Participants who wish to complete the certification after the conference can connect with CTHN to finish the required group consultation sessions and course assessment.
